ABOUT PRINTS

This delicious one-of-a-kind image consists of hundreds of photographs of real donuts, meticulously arranged by color and texture to produce the iconic portrait. When creating additional images of the same portrait, Candice changes some of the donuts.

Paper

The art is printed on 100% rag paper and signed on the front lower right. Print size measures out to 39″ Height x 31″ Wide.

FRAMING

This piece is framed with a white frame measuring 1 ½ Deep x 1 ¾ ” wide with an 8 PLY white mat with 2 ¼” of mat showing on all sides. This piece is also framed with plexiglass.

Shipping

Each piece can take between 2 to 3 weeks to print, mount, frame, and ship. Once shipped, you’ll receive a FedEx tracking number from us so you can track your delivery.

Candice first photographs the donuts and then studies the characteristics of each so that she can arrange them according to their tones, colors, values, and intensity to create the iconic portrait. She chooses the correct placement of just the right donut for each area of the artwork. The art is created to appear as a pop art image of hundreds of random donuts but when viewed through your camera or from a distance, you see the iconic realistic portrait appear.
