Each quarter at Eric Zener Studio, we carefully curate a small selection of Zener’s imagery to make available for limited edition prints. These aluminums are created from original paintings by Eric Zener and made available in Aluminum prints. We feature a small collection of imagery each quarter through our website. All aluminum’s are individually signed by the artist and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Dye-sublimation onto metal is a new, cutting edge, way to reproduce an image. Sublimation itself is the process of going from a solid to a gas, back to a solid – skipping the liquid state. The image is printed to a transfer paper, heated to a very high temperature and then as it cools the dye is infused into the aluminum. The aluminum print is then mounted to a cherry wood cradle and is ready to hang.
These aluminum prints are made with archival inks, are scratch-resistant and are easy to clean. They are very modern and extremely lightweight which allows us to make extra-large print sizes.
